Hi, my name is Patrick O'Neill and I'm running my 10th 100 mile foot race to help those with cancer

I moved to Crested Butte at age 22 in 1986 and I taught middle school English in Crested Butte for 28 years.

A month before I retired in June 2019, I looked at the list of non-profit organizations in the Gunnison Valley and selected the one to which I would dedicate a decade of service. No brainer! Living Journeys. I lost my best friend and father to cancer. I have witnessed the devastating impacts of cancer on dozens and dozens of Gunnison Valley residents and attended many funerals.

No one should have to face cancer alone.

Therefore, on September 14, 2020, I will be McCall, Idaho for my 10th 100-mile running race.

Please be the wind below my wings and make a donation to this vital organization, and, together, we will make it to the finish line. I have never believed so deeply in Living Journeys’ Mission and Services than I do right now.

Thank you.
